About Me

Every season of Pros vs Joes brings exciting new classic moments. In Season 2 we saw a lot of them but none better then my friend Rodney taking on legendary RB Eric Dickerson. Watch for yourself:

I created Outside the Box Entertainment back in 2000. In addition to my law enforcement career I have always enjoyed writing as a serious second hobby. Supported by an outstanding core of family and friends my writing dreams became reality when I was introduced to Jay Jacobs, a retired V.P. from the William Morris Agency (WMA). Under his leadership, guidance, and direction I was able to finally take all of my creative thoughts and turn them into a reality TV show pilot titled "Under Pressure".
Unfortunately along the way the process of marketing this show (which allows average sports fans the opportunity to challenge professional athletes in numerous sports challenges) the idea was stolen by a television network and rushed into production under the name "Pros vs. Joes" which airs on Spike TV.
Fortunately for me my Under Pressure,, idea was copyrighted, trademarked and also registered with the Writer's Guild of America- which legally protected all of my work. In February 2006 my attorney filed paperwork putting Spike on notice and in July 2007-armed with new evidence after an extensive 2 yr. investigation- my case was referred to a new legal firm that filed a Federal Copyright Infringement Lawsuit with the United States District Court against Spike TV and we are extremely confident that we will prevail. If you were a contestant (or anyone else affiliated) with the Pros vs Joes show I would love to hear from you.
TO ALL THE FANS OF THE PROS VS. JOES SHOW: Feel free to "ADD ME" as a MySpace Friend and "SEND ME" to your friends who also love seeing average guys taking on professional athletes in sports challenges.
With that in mind I have to take a moment to personnally "THANK EVERYONE" I have met on MySpace involved with the "Pros vs Joes" show. Your behind the scenes insights, thoughts, and honesty have been amazing and I am truly humbled by your continued support in this very unfortunate matter.
Currently I am planning the release of another revoluntionary reality television show, once that project is copyrighted and protected I will post an update as to what it is about as I love feedback from my viewing audience.
Also I do welcome working with other writers on television/movie projects so don't hesitate to introduce yourself- especially if your project needs an "outside the box" idea or two...

My Interests

I have a lot of interests- starting with spending time with my wonderful family & great friends. I wouldn't trade my law enforcement experiences for anything but "creating" new television projects is a close second!

I'd like to meet:

I would of loved to have met actor John Ritter- whose humor and acting talent was truly second to none. Some of my future television projects will incorporate that type of "outside the box" humor. Any of my friends that have experienced "Movie Night with Tim" would understand this completely.
As you "Walk On" through the rest of my page please let this U2 classic assist you:

A close second to John Ritter would be Jackie Gleason. His work in the "The Honeymooners" was amazing! In todays day and age every sitcom has hundreds of different sets & locations in which to film from. The Honeymooners episodes were pretty much all filmed in that little apartment set. Yet that show is a TV icon and it's as funny watching it today as it was when it first aired decades ago. That tells you the kind of talent he (and the rest of that 4 member) cast was. A lot of people probably don't know that "The Flinstones" cartoon was created based off of the Honeymooners TV show!
THANK YOU for visiting my MySpace page. I hope to see you stop back again sometime soon. Until then I wish you and your families a safe and happy summer season!

Music:

One of my lifelong friends is Harry "Choo Choo" Romero of Subliminal and Bambossa records. It seems like the other day we were playing tackle football in his backyard and now he is one of the best creative minds in the music industry. Outside of that I can't get enough of Pearl Jam, U2, Rush, Nickleback and Journey.
People always ask me why I am such a huge fan of Pearl Jam. This performance of "Porch" from 1992 will easily answer that question:

Movies:

My cousin is actor Rick Alessa. One of the best scenes he's noted for is walking down the street in the rain besides Rene Russo at the end of "The Thomas Crown Affair". He was also the limo driver in Adam Sandler's "Mr.Deeds".For behind the scenes information about every TV show/movie go to www.wikipedia.com - which is the worlds largest online encyclopedia. The site is awesome. If you visit it type in "Pros vs Joes" for more information on one of the hottest reality TV shows on the air.

Television:

My favorite shows are "Pros vs Joes", "UFC", & "Bullrun" on Spike TV, "Hogan Knows Best" & "Surreal Life" on VH1, "Sopranos" on HBO, "American Idol" on FOX, "CSI:Miami" on CBS, "Three's Company" , "Honeymooners", "The Shield" on FX, "NFL Total Access" on the NFL Network, "TNA Imapct & WWE Wrestling" and all of the "Geico Cavemen" commercials. I enjoy all of the Reality TV behind the scenes shows.

Books:

My brother is the CEO of Chapparrels Custom Diecast specializing in producing 1:18 scaled version of CART/Champ cars. His cars are truly astounding and it seems everytime I turn on the Radio/TV I see him doing another interview about his business. It's only a matter of time before they do a book on his company. Recently one of his car's went on display at the Playboy Mansion and he was invited to stay there for a weekend. You can see his amazing work at www.chapparrelsdiecast.com

Heroes:

By far its former NFL player/ Army Ranger Pat Tillman. Thats why I dedicated my first television project (Under Pressure)in his honor. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Arizona in 1998 (see my pics) and he was truly different then any other professional athlete I had ever met. In a world which has these professional athletes driving Hummers and Lincoln Navigators to practice, Tillman was happy riding his bicycle to and from practice. There are not many NFL stars who will walk away from millions of dollars to go and join the military. American Hero. His life tragically ended in Afghanistan in 2004. He is the true definition of the word "hero". The Pat Tillman Foundation carries on Pat's legacy.
