People with bizarre senses of humor who aren't afraid to be themselves no matter the social costs cause being popular and cool is completely overrated.

Not so much, until Lost comes on... or I win the lotto and get cable. But then I might just sit on the couch all day watching Brady Bunch reruns or E True Hollywood story while my brain slowly shrinks away
Any and everything by Tom Robbins, Charles Bukowski, or Shell Silverstein. Enjoy Russel Banks, Isabelle Allende, Margaret Atwood, David Sedaris. Love classics like 1984, On the Road, Junkie, Maus, To Kill a Mockingbird, Brave New World. Just finished reading Running with Scissors, Memoirs of a Geisha, reread The Beach (awesome book, hated the movie). Other favorites: Snow Falling on Cedars, Bill Bryson's travel narratives, Daughter of Fortune, Angela's Ashes.
My mom, John Ono Lennon, my students and Maya Angelou.
