Tall De France

About Me

This spring/early summer, will be the first annual Tall De France. The Tall De France is a race around Muskegon Lake on tall bikes. It starts at the south side of the channel, Pier Marquette, and will end at the north side of the channel, the state park. You will have to stop at the assigned checkpoints on the way. The check points will be a few of Muskegon’s bars. Each bar will have an assigned drink or shot. There will be about 10-12 total stops. In order to ride in the Tall De France, you will have to be riding a “tall bike.” If you do not know how to make a tall bike, or need help, any of the Top Friends can help you. Also, April 1st, we will be having a Tall Bike Making Party. All you have to do is show up with the necessary parts. Two 26” bike frames (one men’s frame, one female frame), wheels and tires, handle bars etc. Bring beer too. If you bring these things we will help you make your tall bike. The more people we have, the more fun this will be. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
