About Me

Hello,my young widdershins, my name is...............
I live in Wrexham - moved here from Merseyside 4 years ago to do my degree in Multimedia Design at NEWI. Met my darling James and decided to stay here, so we now have our own place and family of pets - The Cats - Princess, Slem and Onyx, the Hamster - Burt Montgomerry and the army of fish.I'll end this here by saying in my spare time I like to slob with beers and films, go visit castles and drag James along much to his delight (not!), delve in a spot of gardening (you, only have to look at my garden to see that phase has now passed :op ), go to gigs, go the pub/clubs, socialise and meeting new people, especially people who share my interests. Oh by the way, in case you wonder 'why the silly name?'.. it's an old netgoth/ and wgw forum name.

Myspace Countdown or Myspace Layouts

Music:

Mainly Goth, ethereal and darkwave. But I do listen to other things like a bit of grunge, metal, industrial rockabilly, old skool punk, folk, early 90's dance and most 80's. (Pretty much anything that's not in the charts really)Most of the music I like is in my favourites list anyway as I have a habit of adding the profile I add the song from for future reference...Ooh What a good idea! But I don't think you can see that so oh well, there are too many to list here.

Movies:

The Crow! The Dark Crystal, Pans Labrynth, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, The Craft, House Of 1000 corpses, Trainspotting, David Cronenburg films (I own a few), Spun, Love Object, Secretary, May, I love cheesy chick flicks and stoner comedies, hammer horrors, British cinema, erm, more films come to mind.. thirteen, American History X, Anarchists Cookbook, Human Traffic, Cruel Intentions, Blow, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Hairspray, Cry Baby.

Television:

Neighbours, Eastenders..(in particular when Grant Mitchell is in it..'Allo Bruv!), La Famme Nikita, The l Word, Young ones, most 80's sketch shows, Sex and the City, loads.

Books:

Magazine wise I may be inclined to delve into things such as Creative Review, Contemporary, Rob zombie comics and Bizzare. My favourite book ever is Stephen Smith's Addict. I like to read mainly about social science issues, horrors and true stories along with the design books especially when it involves technology in the design or Vince Ray's work and sci-fi. Lots of things actually, even poetry such as John Hodge- remember this....
"Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself.
Choose your future.
Choose life."

Heroes:

Bansky - he's a legend.
Albert Einstein
Here's some of my favourite famous quotes from him ..............
"I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
"I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist. I am willing to fight for peace. Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war".
"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
"Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking."
"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."
"The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once."
“If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it”
