About Me

The aim of the club is play competitive cricket in an enjoyable environment, as well as to promote and foster the game of cricket within our local area.St. Johns Tecoma Cricket Club was established in 1993 when the St. Johns Cricket Club (Est. 1947) and Tecoma Cricket Club (Est. 1950) merged. Both of these clubs had a long and proud history within the Ferntree Gully District Cricket Association. Our club currently fields 4 Senior Mens sides, 1 Senior Womens side (affiliated with the VWCA), 3 Junior sides, 1 Veterans side and Milo-HAG.

Heroes:

23/11/2006 In an Accident at the Heritage Golf Course Jarrod Parlby who plays in the 1st XI was injured when a ride on mower rolled and toppled back on him. Jarrod sustained an injury to the heel of his foot in preventing the mower blades from falling on him. The injury took the bottom of his heel off through to the soul of his foot to a depth of 25 mm. I am sure that the local cricketing community will wish him all the best in a speedy recovery.
