My Interests

I read more than I should and clean when I have to. I enjoy seeing things from a different perspective. I like getting all sides of a story before I pass judgemnt or form an opinion.

Music:

I like all kinds of music. It depends on my mood and who I'm with. On my own, I usually listen to NPR. Music in my CD player now, Cristina Aguilera Back to Basics disc 2. Also in current rotation: Tori Amos, Cher, Nickelback, Sugar Land, and My Chemical Romance

Movies:

I like the grace and style of the old black and white movies or the early technicolour films. Gone With The Wind, Wuthering Heights, and Captain Blood. Pirate Movies, old musicals.

Television:

SciFi rocks. Battle Star Galactica, Dr. Who, Torchwood, and Firefly distract and inspire. And for laughs(and who doesn't need a good laugh) Two and a Half Men, My Name is Earl, and 30 Rock. Like most people, I use to despise reality TV. But Project Runway started me down this path and I regualy catch American Idol and HGTV and BBC America's daily offerings of decorating, nutrition, and slice of life shows are working their way into my routine.

Books:

Elegancet and Innocence by Kathleen Tessaro. Douglas Adams makes me smile. Dr Wayne Dyer's Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life and his other books have inspired me to change how I view the world and my place in it.

Heroes:

Who needs heros? We should aspire to be other people's heros.
