Make a Mess spelar som förband till All Ends, på Gottwalds i Ängelholm!
MyGen Profile Generator
The Band Make a Mess started in the summer of 2004. Elin Ekblom, guitarist, was tired of her old band and wanted to create something new. Her big sister Amanda, keyboards, who also played in the old band followed along. A friend of Elin, Sassa, liked singing and wanted to join the new band to. Elin invited two older boys from her school, Love, drummer, and Jesper, guitarist, and asked them if they wanted to play in the band.
Make A Mess first show was held at the Music School in Höganäs and ever since, the band has kept up the good work performing on big stages and at big events.
Make a Mess has played at the Aalborg festival in Denmark (220 rock bands on seven stages during one weekend), at a scout camp (4 000 scouts from all over the world) in Lysekil in Sweden, and at many big horse shows. They have also participated in the Swedish competition Musik Direkt twice, and got credits both time. The second time, they qualified two times and got to play in the final of the region in south Sweden. They also qualified to the Scandinavian Final in the world-wide competition Emegerenza – which means that they are the best band from south Sweden! :-)
The band has also won a scholarship from Milk Energy. Milk Energy is a foundation that every year gives out checks to teenagers who are athletes or play some kind of instrument. Make a mess got a check for SEK 10 000 ($ 1200) and they are the first rock band ever to get a scholarship from the Milk Energy Foundation.
