I love to run, herd, think, and take on challenges. Quotes to live by: "To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." and..."Never tell me the odds."Shakespeare and Han Solo, respectively.
Belgia a.k.a., "Cut Chemist's dog", entered our life and subsequently, the music studio in 1992. A year later, U.N.I.T.Y. Committee released "Unified Rebelution". Shortly after that, Lucas released "Lesson 4: The Radio" (an ovation of hip hop masterpieces "Lessons 1-3" by Double Dee and Steinski). Lucas followed this effort up with "Lesson 6: The Lecture". From those early days with U.N.I.T.Y. Committee and Rebels of Rhythm, to Jurassic 5, Dark Leaf, and Ozomatli, to "Brainfreeze" and "Product Placement" produced and performed with DJ Shadow, right up to "The Audiences Listening", Lucas' solo debut album, Belgia was something of a muse and a good luck charm. She had quite a life, that spanned 15 years, thanks to the music makers. They gave us not only music but great memories...Thanks to Cut Chemist, Hymnal, U.N.I.T.Y.
