Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Neil grew-up surrounded by musicians listening and playing Latin music all around my neighborhood. He studied beats from Rock to Afro-Venezuelan and Afro Cuban rhythms.
In 1991, joined the famous art collective "Art-o de Caracas," a group of artists from different backgrounds who strove to create with an integral harmony between various art forms and developed their creativity together.
Since 1995, Neil is been living in New York City, performing, recording and/or touring with arists such as Ricky Martin, David Byrne, Los Aterciopelados (Grammy Award winning Rock en español band), Los Amigos Invisibles, Guitarist Aquiles Baez, Leon Parker 's Live Ensemble. Venezuelan folk singer Cecilia Todd among others. Since 2000 i've been the percussionist for SiSe, a New York City based trip-hop band wich has released two albums, and it’s been constantly touring the States, Europe, South and Central America and countries as far as Singapore and Turkey.
