Darick Felter

Playing drums has been my obsession since I was around 5. Always knew I wanted to be a musician and write songs. Getting into the music business was just something that I had to do and at the same time sort of fell into.I've been able to play with a lot of great musicians in many different styles and had some memorable times playing on the road with bands. In recent years I have had the odd chance to appear with and open for some of my musician heroes such as Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, Elton John, The Guess Who and some infamously famous blues artists while on tour with Deborah Coleman a couple times.Aside from the live thing I really enjoy the creative process of writing and recording so I have also helped produce a couple local CD projects as well as done session work for several artists in the Tidewater area. Most recently had the opportunity to step into a new area for me and write music for a major network television publisher with worldwide distribution.
