Band Members: Rootzlady is a solo act. She also play the organ, keyboard, different kind of drums, percussion, piano, start wid guitar and create her own beats.For booking or promotion or online shout outs message # 1641-985-7800 pass code *3278979 leave mi a message.. speak yu mind ..Rootz & CulchaA five year old girl stay inside her room, jingling on a battery working frog organ, a present of somebody.This funny chinking cause the parents to exchange the frogs for a "Bontempi" organ.After a few days the mother didn` t trust her eyes by passin the children` s room as she noticed that the girlie imitated 80s melodies from the radio.The parents enrolled her in a music school, where the skill of the Rootzlady was certified: every melody produced by radios, humans or instruments could be imitated without notes.Did she hear the first sounds of a tune, she knew the complete song.The first concert happened in the same year. In those days she presented the evergreen "Hymne of Joy" , totally covered of the notes, that consequently nobody couldn` t see her.Two years later the parents took her to a village party. Them let the girl strolin and didn` t see her for hours. The reason was that she hanged around backstage with them musicians, talking about new german wave.As the parents started to think about the missed girl she was seen again:Cheeky she stood up on stage, a microphone in her hand by singin "99 red balloons" from –Nena, already giving the audience good vibrations.Seven years after that happening she visited another music school, cause the first one was closed, but she still played the same songs. From vienna to snow waltz - all about the old people` s league was substituted.The parents and grandmothers were totally happy about the style of the music teacher, but Rootzlady didn t think that it was exciting. Month by month she begged to leave the music school finally, but everybody except her was against that.One day she persuaded the parents to finish this suffering. She was absolutely glad to exchange the organ against back horse riding lessons.In this time the music passion was not promoted, but it was still inside her. So she used every opportunity to play any instrument.Years later a friend asked the becoming reggae fan, if she could help a band by playing with them. The music style was rock cover and they looked for a keyboard player. The style was no real Rootzlady thing.Because of styles like summer jam, Bob Marley and Co. also a journey to Jamaica the reggae spirit was lighted and lived.But she agreed to the inquire, cause only a try mek ya clever.After months she decided on following her own talent and left the band to invest the time capacities in reggae music.Inside her heart she felt that something in her life was wrong and thought about everything. After a short time she decided to restructure her life new to follow the destiny Jah gave her.Since this time the positives flow have been running and the real life of Rootzlady have started.She left her boyfriend, started a new job, moved into another flat, removed the tv, packed suitcases and flew again to Jamaica.A short time before a percussion and a singing trainer started to teach her, she although started to compose reggae songs.She was enthusiasted about Patois, but she didn't understand one word at the first Jamaica visit. But then she got ambiscious and started to learn the language by herself.From the beginning she wrote lyrics in Patois.Meeting other people is a very important aspect in Rootzlady` s life, but she although love it to stay alone.She met Sista di Shy, a selectress without MC. She asked Rootzlady if she was interested in taking this part and di lady agreed.Because of her job di sista was prevented to follow the reggae passion completely, the consequence was that Rootzlady looked for a backing band to practizise the own project.A deal with the new backing band realised one gig: they would play a few songs of the Rootzlady compositions, if Rootzlady sang the background part of their tunes.After the gig she noticed, that different intentions were followed, so she took the consequences again and moved away."If ya don` t move you never achieve tings, moreover it was wonderful fi me ah discover own way just follow me personal destiny jah gimme."By the same time a doctor told Rootzlady a bad diagnosis: Disphonys, that means that she had lumbs on her vocal cords. It prevented that she couldn `t sing all the notes clearly and the voice sounded different.They suggested two methods for the healing: An operation with the risk that they damage the voice cords or a voice therapy.She choosed the therapy and took a time out from all stress, pressure and singing.The voice needed silence, relaxing and a different handling. All these things she learned at the very good doctor and flew away to Jamaica again.Since that time one might recognize a positive livity more than before in her style: she watches things in a positive way and believes that you can reach every aim if you do everything for it."Use all ya tools and tek yaself ah zion!!!""The world is how you watch it" - this message was transported in Rootzlady lyrics. Give ya much more dan any material thing couda do!"Computer wasn` t the hobby of Rootzlady at no time, beside as a player of instruments one refuse music produced by a computer generally. So she killed the idea to produce the own riddims in the computer first time.Maybe it depended on a lazyness to learn and get in contact with modern digital media.A friend persuaded Rootzlady to do it nevertheless, in addition it took her in an independent situation.She bought a new computer and RL studied a new science by producing her own compositions in the case."Watch dis – you no nevah regret dat!!!"Positive vibrationsIs the attitude of the nice minded lady."Positive energy tek ya forward. As she put her feet on Jamaican floor, she started to feel at home."Positive vibrations, chu chu!"She learned a lot about the country and its people and was interested in a lot of Jamaican vibes: Ital food, Rootdrinks, habits and culcha... and for sure in music.Naturally she get in contact with Jamaican problems, there`s no glance on all gold.But to put it in a nutshell, some German people could imitate the positive lifestyle of Jamaica.Jamaicans fight for surviving, against hungry bellies and for human rights – this basics the german people enjoy a long time. After all the Germans are unhappy.If people would think positive like some Jamaicans do, we wouldn` t have so many wars, workless and hungry people in the world.But its not too late to change it- let` s do it together!!!"Di way is di destiny!!!"
