I am a Connecticut artist who specializes in original art, digital photography and photo manipulation as well as character make up and special effects work for film and video. I have always possessed a passion for horror films and the macabre. I am fascinated by the paranormal and the dark side of the human psyche. Images of ghosts, ghouls, and bizarre, otherworldly creatures and femme fatales infused with an element of eroticism are frequent themes of my work. I began my professional career in the production/art department of Stage Fright Studios, where I gained hands on experience in producing props and mechanically animated characters for stage and screen. Sculpting, moldmaking, life casting, character make-up and improvisational acting were only a few of the skills that became necessary for me to learn in this highly specialized industry. When SFS closed in 2000 (a sad day indeed, part of me still mourns) I turned my focus toward photography and video production, completing a production internship in broadcasting for the local public access channel and teaching myself photo/video editing techniques and 3D scene generation. I found digital media to be very satisfying to work in and soon began producing my own original art and offering custom work in photography and digital media. These skills proved invaluable soon after, when I was offered an opportunity as lead photographer for a Ct. studio specializing in portrait / glamour and erotic style photography. Over the next few years, I was able to further expand my experience in lighting and exposure techniques, while indulging my own creative pursuits, exhibiting in galleries and networking with other local artists.I am so extremely grateful for the friends and support that I have received from everyone.THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!
