In 2000, successful entrepreneur Al Bazzy recruited filmmakers Jason Morgan and Rob Zazzali to form Varuna. The fusion of their diverse talents has earned the company a reputation for innovation and creativity.
Based in Los Angeles, Varuna Studios is a full service production and postproduction company best known fortheir successful delivery of 24P High Definition media as a cost-effective replacement for 35mm film projects.
Although its business model relies primarily on corporate marketing media, Varuna provides the creative domain for the two filmmakers' upcoming film and television projects.
Proudly, Varuna was one of the first companies in the industry to work with High Definition 24P technology and the third to shoot a feature with this medium. Varuna's pioneering work has been honored by Sony Electronics Corporation at NAB, Sundance, and Cannes.
Jason and Rob have served as discussion panelists at Sundance, Cinequest, and NAB as well as film festivals in Vancouver and New York.
