Wanted: It all

About Me

I'm awesome, like Ashton Kutcher

My Interests

Watching people people watching, pop culture, people, writing, photography, drunken hooliganism, abusing my car(s), fixing my car, meeting people, becoming the Asian Jimi Hendrix, becoming the next William Hung, eating out, hanging out, making out, rocking out, screaming out "the fuck's that about?"

I'd like to meet:

Music:

Some stuff currently seeing heavy rotation: Spoon, Kanye West, Ok Go, Ben Folds, The White Stripes, Beastie Boys, Kaiser Chiefs, Metric, Etta James, James Brown

Movies:

Yes.

Television:

I like well-written shows (as in, not Fear Factor). Seinfeld was the best show ever aired and they should have ceased the production and broadcasting of all other shows when it finished, only then I wouldn't be able to catch episodes of Ed's Night Party which I must admit I enjoy. Also: Arrested Development, The Office, Trailer Park Boys, CSI, (sometimes), all those good shows that got cancelled.

Books:

Popular literature such as Tig Bitties Monthly.

Heroes:

Most people would rather be certain they're miserable than risk being happy. - Robert Anthony

the art of the sell

Given a high-pressure social situation (like the job interview I had today, for example), most people are far too self-involved. I know I usually am. What should I say? Am I over-dressed? Sit straight...

the last kiss

I watched this re-make of the 2001 Italian film L'Ultimo Bacio. Zach Braff seems to be doing a bang-up job of chronicling the various crises (crisises?) one must go through whilst transitioning in...

little miss sunshine

"[Marcel Proust]. French writer. Total loser. Never had a real job. Unrequited love affairs. Gay. Spent 20 years writing a book almost no one reads. But he's also probably the greatest writer...

home for the holidays

I was sitting in the kitchen at my parents house, the house I grew up in, when the phone rang. My mother answered it with a "Wai?" Neither her or my father answer the phone in English anymore, not ...

My living room window is about 3 meters away from the side door to my neighbor's house. Everytime anyone leaves that place I hear a, "Holy shit! Fuck! Ahhh!" I think there is a huge patch of ice in ...
