Colt Ford is an ordinary man. He is a father, a husband, a pro golfer and a blazing urban country music artist. Born and bred in Athens, GA just outside of the new urban music mecca of Atlanta, GA, Colt began his music career young in life and has never lost sight of his dream of being a national urban country music artist. The difference he would make in this process was that he was determined to take the best of all musical elements: country, rock, blues and now rap and incorporate them into one beautifully blended format. And nobody has done it better than Colt Ford.
Colt Ford has an incredibly talented team of producers, engineers and management behind his projects. He is currently the subject of a reality TV show being filmed in Atlanta, GA, chronicling his career development and national debut, the production process of his first CD to be released later in 2007, as well as just the average day in the life of Colt Ford. He is collaborating on his works with nationally acclaimed urban artists such as Bone Crusher, Bizarre and a host of others bringing a unique quality and depth to the music he makes. His video and project debut is being introduced at the VERSUS Invitational Pro Bull Riders Competition on January 6-7, 2007 at Madison Square Garden, which will be nationally televised on NBC as well as other PBR network affiliations. Colt will be seen performing in the video produced for the anthem he wrote for the PBR entitled, BUCKEM.
