Make that about us. We're writer's of romance, fantasy, futuristic and paranormal. The similarities between us are more than just our same first names. We have the same amount of chilren and our husbands have the same name too! And, we think alike - many of our stories have similar elements. Though V1 can't read V2's work after dark! Too busy to keep up with MySpace individually, we decided to try a joint effort. Bootsquad Squared is an off shoot of our writing support group-where we support, critique and occasionally kick each others rears when the excuses outweigh production.Vicky B's Bio:
I've got multiple homes all over the universe. My place in Lunar City was the first, but other planets drew me away and I can't say I don't love them. It's hard sometimes, though. A lot of cultures are rather closed minded when it comes to "special abilities". I look human - for the most part - but when I start moving things or flicking fire from my fingertips, or changing the course of rivers, they tend to get a little freaked out. I can't tell you how many towns I've been chased out of. One even tried to burn me as a witch. Puleeze. You're going to fire someone who can control fire? Anyway, I found the one guy out there in the universe who loves me for who I am and we've been together forever. Thanks to him, I get to write about my adventures and enjoy great friendships like V2.
V2's Bio:
I'll try my best to be serious. Okay, why bother with that? Born to a poor merman family, they didn't know what to do with a child that had legs and actually needed to breathe air. It didn't take long until I was forced out of the ocean and onto dry land. I was then raised by a family of hermit crabs until they realized I didn't do well having to sleep in a shell. I spent my formative years roaming the beaches of both coasts, until my Prince Charming hooked me on a flounder rigging while fishing off the coast of North Carolina. A lie? Nah. Just fiction. Writing is the most wonderful career in the world!
