About Me

S:Tarted listening to house and techno in the late eightees. Started mixing first records in 1994. Began buying vinyl regularly and bought first Technics1200 in 1995. A career DJing professionally was going by 96' and then began doing midi studio production alongside some of the most respected artists of House music. Worked on Acid House, Techno, and Jungle/DnB beats. Purchased first Mac in 98' making the step from midi sequencers to a DAW. Eventually the studio setup evolved over the years from Cubase on a desktop to a mobile setup with Logic running on a laptop ten years later. Stereo:Type Studios is based on the West Coast between Portland and San Francisco and includes artists from Bohemian Records, Jack Junkies, Illektrolab, Internal, and HousMart.
