Influences: Before any social-cultural conditioning and environmental shaping of the definition of just what music is it is sound perceived by the human ear(don't mean to be anthro-specific but "music" is very much a word), in that sense eternal, never living never dying it is in that sense one of the constants of conscious living(for all but the deaf), I couldn't begin to describe the impact sound has on daily cognitive processes let alone in our history and more importantly in our future.
