OK, here's the lowdown: I'm single and live with my 2 cats in Anchorage. I work full time night shift as a nurse for the state and I go to UAA part time 3 evenings a week. I moved up here from California in 2005. I'm an only child who values my friends very highly...but I don't have many up here. I like different kinds of music. I listen to mostly rock, oldies, country, SOME hip hop and pop...oh, and some dance type stuff. I like movies, but I don't watch them too often. Actually, I don't watch TV often either. Anyway, my favorite type of movie would be an action movie. I like movies that are about wars, big government secrets, conspiracies, etc. I also like comedies, but it really depends on what kind. I'm not a big fan of chick flicks, but every now and then one sounds ok. I am definitely not a fan of horror/scary movies. I like to be outdoors and do things like camp, fish, hike, etc, but I don't have too many people to do that with up here. I'm crazy about the northern lights and if I think they might be out, I will drive to Flat Top at 3 a.m. to see them. My friends think this is nuts, but I don't care! That's just how I am...so I guess I can be spontaneous. I also love to travel and see new places. Here's the meat and potatoes though: I'm the type of person who will be there for someone when they need me. I'm loyal and I expect the same. I can be fun to be around, but I'm not just looking for a fling. I have a lot of goals and it would be nice to find someone who has goals too. It would be even better if I find someone who has similar goals to my own. I don't want to play games. I don't want drama. I'm a giver. If you're the type of guy who doesn't mind little surprises here and there, then I might be your type. I'm always trying to change things up in a relationship. In the past, I haven't been treated very well and I'm looking for someone who is going to show me they appreciate me, as I would do for them. I'm not saying buy me expensive gifts and fly me around the world...but little things count. I like people who are intelligent, have a good head on their shoulders, can be spontaneous OR plan things out, like to be outdoors...and maybe wouldn't mind teaching this city girl (not by choice) how to shoot, hunt, etc. Thanks for reading =)
