Draping on his ruffled bed, a compact little Cairn Terrier pup named Rigoletto, gracefully stands up on his short, attenuated front legs to observe any possible movement he sees. The quick, sponge-like wit of the pup quickly learns the tricks taught to him; especially those showcasing his adroit coordination, such as balancing or rolling over.
He is scruffy, and his attention span short. Rigoletto prefers to be getting his chaotic energy exercised by playing with any object he can wrestle with, or running. Nothing can capture his mind like a fast paced run, which he enjoys showing his teeth, and with his tongue hanging out. He nimbly chases his favorite wrestling partner; a toy lobster, whose lengthy arms he deftly avoids as they flutter at him.
The playfulness of the little one is shown best when he manages to steal a loose sock or slipper, and scamper under a table; only to rush under the most convenient chair when one tries to grab him. His obedience is displayed when he sits, stops, follows, or leaves on command. The devotedness and friendliness he is full of are demonstrated when he rubs himself from head to tail, side to side, on your legs, and licks your face; with canine cheerfulness.
