Even as a youngster, Shariff Nasr spent most of his time writing stories. The remainder of his energy was exhausted on his fictional television channel, which had much potential according to its faithful crowd of imaginary viewers. In secondary school the fascinating world outside, rather than inside, the school grounds grabbed Shariff’s attention, resulting in some severe cases of memory loss. At the Film Academy his efforts have shifted to writing screenplays and directing film, commercials and music videos. In 2006 he made some short films for Dutch televison and formed his own production company, Edge Creative Media , together with producer Bouke van der Veer.
