BIOGRAPHY:
In their youth, the two brothers Adrian and Jules played together
on their instruments, terrorizing the neighborhood from their
parent’s attic. In the year 2000, Deadend started jamming with
them as the DJ in the Rock band RIST. After moving to a real
band room in Oberursel, they welcomed the addition of bass
player Arne.
Then they began to write their own songs and
lyrics, where in August 2003 the boys recorded their first demo
REFUSE N RESIST.
In the meantime, Vincent and Browner were
engaged in the Thrash Metal band NERO XIII.
In the year 2004,
as both bands started to crumble, the school mates Jules,
Vincent and Browner decided to get together and start a new
project. A vocalist was soon found in Diana, who studied classical
singing and has sung in various musicals and bands. This included
serving as a back vocalist in the Gothic band JANUS.
In March 2005,
FAINT OF ENEMY was formed in its first constellation. It contained
Diana (Vocals), Adrian (Guitars), Jules (Drums/ Programming),
Browner (Guitars), Arne (Bass), Deadend (Turntables/ Samples/Percussion/Backvocals)
and Vincent (Audioterror/FX).
The band decided to relocate into a
new band room in Oberursel with their own recording studio
ENEMUSIC. They started to create a new form of heavy metal music
with several electronic and progressive elements.
In the year 2006
the band recorded and produced their first demo PERCEPTION, and
they also made a video to their first single SWORN ENEMY.
In November 2006 Arne surprisingly left the band to go to university.
But after a short period of time the perfect replacement was found in
Lucky. He joined the band as the new bass player.
In May 2007, after playing their first gigs, the band also recorded and produced their second demo TRAPPED. They started to promote themselves by
creating a live trailer and merchandise stuff.
