Der Name mag es eventuell nicht gleich erkennen lassen doch: Ja! Wir spielen “Metalcore“. Aufgrund der Tatsache dass diese Bezeichnung allerdings für absolut jeden Müll verwendet wird widerstrebt uns diese Bezeichnung etwas.
Nichts desto trotz trifft diese Bezeichnung den Nagel absolut auf den Kopf. Wir spielen kraftvollen und brachialen sehr moshlastigen Hardcore gepaart mit melodischen blast-part Metal Riffs. Abgerundet wird das ganze durch die von in weniger als einer Sekunde von tiefen growls in nahezu hysterische screamparts überschwenkende Stimme unseres Sangesbruders Heinrich.
“The Ochmoneks“ existieren (in der jetzigen Besetzung siehe links) seit dem Sommer 2006. Wir selbst nehmen uns als Personen nicht zu ernst was aber nicht bedeuten soll, dass wir unsere Musik nicht ernst nehmen! Unsere musikalischen Einflüsse sind zum Teil links von diesem Text aufgeführt; dies sind natürlich längst nicht alle. Es existiert noch eine Vielzahl von Bands die uns inspirieren.
Kommt einfach mal zu einer Show von “The Ochmoneks“ und lasst euch in dem Moshpit eins auf die Nuss hauen!!!English
You might not rightaway guess it but: Hell yeah! We play metalcore! With regard to the fact that nowadays nearly everything is described as metal-core it’s quite understandable that we are not very happy with this term.
Never the less this description really fits. We play powerful, raw very mosh dominated hardcore mixed up with melodic blast part metal riffs. All that gets rounded up by the voice of Mr Heinrich which in less than one second goes from the deepest growls into almost hysterical scream parts.
The band exists in this lineup as it can be seen on the left since summer 2006. We as persons don’t take ourselfs too serious (our name is already a quite good indicator for that!) but that doesn’t mean that we don’t take our music serious. On the left we listed up some bands which influenced us a lot by the way they play, sing,or write but it must be said that this is a very short list and it doesn..t capture all of our musical influences at all.
