Crash! is the name of a young pop/rock/punk band who had their stage debut only 18 months ago (then know as Already Taken). Since that time things has gone really fast, they released an EP on Roadkill Records with six songs and went on a five days mini tour in Scandinavia, but the Eurovision Song Contest / Melody Grand Prix was never something that crossed the minds on the 4 young boys. That was until they met Trond Holter, also known as Teeny from the band Wig Wam, who represented Norway in the Eurovision 2005 contest with the song In My Dreams.
When Teeny told about his own Eurovision experiences and asked the band to sing this song “Wannabe†they accepted. The song is about making yourself noticed; to do what you want and not what others expect from you…
And CRASH! ended up with a 3th place. That actually is very good.
But they didn't win the ESC, but we are sure that they catched many norwegian hearts.
