Phoenix Rising is a hard rock band from Denver, Colorado. Their hard-hitting, melodic sound is unlike anything else. They play hard rock like it supposed to be played: screaming guitars, solid drum beats and strong vocals. Their original music shows their diversity as a band. They play a power ballad and a head-banging, slam dancing hard song with the same intensity and heart.
Phoenix Rising was formed in 2005 and began playing gigs around the Denver metro area. Some lineup changes occurred and resulted in the perfect combination that rocks as Phoenix Rising today.
Their shows are exciting and ear-splitting events. When Phoenix Rising takes the stage, it is impossible to stay in your seat. The music draws you in and the lyrics grab you. You become a part of their songs and feel the emotions the songs convey. You don’t want to take your eyes off the intricate guitar work. The intensity of the drum beat makes you pound you fists and the vocals remain in your mind days after the show.

Justin Howard: Bass (Sept 2006 - Present)
Tony Reyther: Rhythm Guitar (May 2007- present)
NOTE: Phoenix Rising was originally formed by Sean Peck and Anthony Vail in May of 2005. Michael LeBois was brought in to play bass and Will Heward was brought in for lead vocals. Will was then kicked out of the band in March of 2006 and Michael LeBois moved to bass and lead vocals. In August of 2006 Anthony Vail left the band. He went on to pursue his education in Cali. We parted on great terms and still keep in touch. In Sept of 2006, Justin Howard and Steve Fraser were brought in on bass and drums. This moved Mike to rhythm guitar and lead vocals. In May of 2007, Tony Reyther was brought in on rhythm guitar, thus moving Mike to just focus on vocals. Then in Oct of 2007 Steve Fraser quit the band and we parted on very bad terms.
