Cosmic Dream plays cosmic gothic sound, a mix between metal distortion and gothic in a universal cosmic atmosphere.
This band is a side project of Sapta to give his opinion about mix culture between balinese and european, his universalism of pantheist thinking and his background as death metaller, influences many of their songs. Like in ‘witchhand’ with deep balinese elements inside or the universal religion chants on ‘dream of peace’.
And the twins, although they have sing in church since very young and have interested for many traditional instrument or music, and that make them more strong to find another kind of music which can use their voices.
That’s when Sapta’s idea about this project come together on the moment the twins needed new atmosphere.
The first recording from cosmic dream was finished in january 2007 with 10 songs.And they called ,Omnipotent,
Cosmic Dream influenced by bands such as : Crematory, Nightwish, Gregorian, my Dying Bride, Rammstein and Dismember .
