The BATTLE In the Mix DJ Competition
was created by Consciously Social and Nostika Magazine as an opportunity for San Diego’s top DJ’s to perform in front of their piers while coming together to support growth within the local music industry by putting their skills on the turntable to test. Participating DJ’s will battle their own unique styles and original music before a panel of judges, remix tracks from emerging vocal powerhouse and pop singer, Miz Mandy’s newest album, all while helping to promote awareness for our selected nonprofit organization, Invisible Children . DJ’s are encouraged to be as creative as possible with their music and performance, through the incorporation of digital art, visual effects and live talent. At the end of the competition, the winner will be announced and will be presented with our customized BATTLE award, cash prize, and customized sponsor package!
