Burning for Roses and Sonshine

About Me

Are you tired of dispirited poeticism hiding in excessive ambient noise? Are you looking for a fresh raffish taste for music rooted in soul? Are you craving on-stage passion to get lost in? Are you weary of unimaginative flailing? Has the ‘emo’ lost the ‘tional’ for you? Is there no more hard ‘ck’ in your rock & roll? Do you want to put the ‘funky’ back in ‘funk’? Do you want country that’s not from Canada? Do you want to be caked in a blizzard of sonorous power? Are you crying? Do you want to fight the Man? Do you smell the smoky fire of your flaming heart? Does the cookie-cutter just not cut for you anymore? Then take a bite out of this tasty morsel of delight!
We are currently recording a demo with Eric Johnson which we hope to have finished by July so we can give them out at shows this summer and in the fall. Many thanks to Eric for his time and effort in helping us make a quality recording. Hope to see everyone out this summer and check out the home recordings Ted changes out every week!

Windblown

I cut out the middle verse to make it shorter. It's more of an exercise in falsetto than anything else, the last part is pretty nice though. It's about feeling wooed of late, metaphorically speaking.W...

Some rambling thoughts and a few lines of lyric

First, proper nomenclature: the "third world" is an outdated label from the Cold War. Next came the concept of the 'North' and 'South' countries. Currently the distinction is between 'Developing', 'NI...
