"Music, when soft voices die, vibrates in the memory..."
-P.B. Shelley
< Born in Chattanooga, TN- raised in Nashville, TN. Surrounded by music since day one: father's late night jam sessions with friends, mandolin in the morning, dobro at dinner; Inherited his love for music. Started singing at a young age, most often in tu-tus and plastic high-heel jellies. Moved to Nashville at the age of 5. Started dancing and continued singing. Got her first offer to sing a solo, "9 to 5", in the 3rd grade play from her music teacher, Mrs. Davies. Dressed up like Dolly Parton for it. Cried because all of the kids made fun of her stuffed bra. Performed a few more times and kept singing, though on the back-burner. Until assigned to a "songwriting for guitar" class freshman year of high school. Learned to strum a few chords. Wrote first song the first night of class. Added music two days later using two chords: Am and a made-up chord. Started writing that night and never looked back. Continued performing throughout high school: talent shows, receptions, and at the Bluebird Cafe (once). Full-time student in Athens, GA. Planning to continue music through some outlet or another. >
