Snakeboy and Cathy Rae Shiner

About Me

We play Blues with a Beat! Lap Slide Guitar, Harmonica, Rythym Guitar and Vocals. Drums with brushes, classic style. Classic blues hits, obscure tunes, and originals. Music for all. Blues and Bluesy Gospel in the Church, at the American Legion Hall Breakfast, for the Senior Citizens, and the "Special Kids", State Fairs, Festivals, Functions, Casinos and Clubs. Nate 'Snakeboy' Shiner, originally from Texas, has been performing Blues since 1967 in the Sacaramento and Bay Area, and after touring the midwest moved to Oklahoma. Cathy Rae comes from Detroit, MI, where at an early age learned what rythm is all about. Between Snakeboy's multi on-stage talent where he plays lap steel, harmonica, guitar and vocals, and Cathy Rae's steady beat they make an excellent team. Nate and Cathy Rae have been performing together since 1998 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
