Nubeatz Entertainment Biography
Producer/rap artist/CEO Ishmael “Match†Williams takes his roles in music very seriously. This multi-talent spent his life developing skills through successfully merging himself into one charismatic package.
Born in Chicago, IL, Williams moved to Southern Georgia years later and began studying music not long after. During studies, he took early interest in music/vocal production. Williams took vocal lessons, joined the school choir, and learned basics of musical instruments. During musical training while being surrounded by the music environment of other family members, Williams became interested in beat making, rap, and R&B to name a few. Williams got his start recording tracks he originated, later interning at studios learning how things are done by working directly with the engineers. After learning the ropes, Ishmael realized that he could save time, money, and compromising his artistic creativity by setting up shop at home.
By the early teens, Williams accomplished that goal, teaming up with a producer in Atlanta, Georgia to run a 48-track studio (Penlight Prod). While maintaining duties as a producer/rap artist he began rounding up talent and creating music projects and doing massive market research to start his career towards becoming a record company owner.
Williams is currently creating projects for artists in the Atlanta area (B-Head Da Great, Lil Fate, Baby D , and J. Ceasar of Poets Music). Also, Williams worked with Midnight Black (Young Jeezy, Sammie, BoyzNdaHood, Trina, and Pastor Troy). Williams previously performed opening rap acts for Ying-Yang Twins, Lil Scrappy, Field Mobb, Trilleville, and Jackie-O).
