About Me

Layout By

I just got back from spending the summer in Seattle, Washingtong working for YWAM (Youth With A Mission). It was amazing. It's good to be back, though! I'm now living in Raleigh with my amazing roommate (flatmate) Danielle. Life back on the east coast is good, but I miss Seattle...
I'm a (six-year) senior at NC State University and majoring in Math. But I will admit that it doesnt really take up a "major" part of my life. I am a server at Ruby Tuesday and I actually enjoy it. I go to this thing called CCF (Campus Christian Fellowship) which actually is what takes up most of my time, but hey I'm definitely not complaining! I don't know what I want to do with my life once I graduate. Not sure if I'll even use any of my math skills toward a future career. God will use it, though, in some way, shape, form, or fashion.
I really like concerts, and music in general. I want to learn to play the guitar before I die. My ultimate goal is to carry on God's plan for my life.

My Interests

Campus Christian Fellowship, watching people play guitar, knitting, cats, purple, Ruby Tuesday, Bible studies, computers, math, praisin' n worshipin', napping, driving, meeting new people, flying, singing loudly and badly and not caring, concerts, apartment 204, James 5:16, late night bowling, crashing cars, tetris, flipping over couches, Nash County, Photoshop, cold weather, Easter, being random...

Television:

Don't watch much TV, but if Boy Meets World is on, I absolutely cannot turn away...

Books:

The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the book for me! One Child, The Giver, Of Mice and Men

Heroes:

Hero (n): A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life
oooh... My parents, cause without them, I wouldn't be here... Jesus, for saving me after being put on this earth, and giving me a reason to live... and all of those in between who have shown me what life truly is, and who love me. Those who make me cry with laughter, and those who truly care about me. My friends and family -- thank you for believing in me!Danielle is pretty awesome.

you never change, O God...

Does it ever bother you... when you think you know a person, so well.  A person that you can look up to, and then you see them do something, or you hear them say something that it totally changes...

down to the wire

So I'm sitting here in front of 50 thank you notes that I wrote last night.  But thinking about thanking people for things, just a little note never seems like it's enough.  I wish I could e...

Lay it down.

Have you ever regretted anything in your life?  Well, there was this one time when I refused to go talk to a guy named Jason Mraz when he was skateboarding right in front of me.  I think tha...
