I like music......LOUD...music. I wear black most of the time. I don't talk much, at least I don't usually start a conversation with someone I don't know. I don't like sunlight, even though I work at a pool during the summer. I love the night. I'm most active then. And fire.

Don't worry I'm not some goth. I'm actually pretty normal, and a nice guy once you get to know me. The header you see scrolling overhead is only good idea, not a fan's obsession. You'd be wise to contemplate the message. One warning. If you are a hypocrit, a liar, or someone who has no sense of self, don't waste my time, or the time of my friends. For starters.

Music:

Mostly hard rock, however I enjoy all types of music. I only really have a problem with the teeny bopper groups and country. Teeny boppers because they mostly don't write their own music, just sing (I can do that) and are concerned more about their image and wealth than the music (blasphemy as far as I'm concerned). Country because most of the bands sound the same, are unwilling to change, or take it too far when they do (Rap Country for instance). Also, alot of really great songs from other genres have been bastardized by country music "artists" try to get big. Don't get me wrong, there are some country music artists who have got it right I believe. I like older country though. Johny Cash forever!

My family is very into music. My dad has shoe boxes filled with ticket stubs and a soap crate full of vynils. I started out with classic rock (and still love it) but moved to Metal and Hard Rock in my late teens. I'm into anything different, anything with a voice. My favorite group is Tool. I'm also a fan of APC, Slipknot, Disturbed, NIN, Soungarden, Rage Against the Machine, Rage Against the Garden(AudioSlave), Korn, MushroomHead, Mussugah, Godsmack, and Metallica to give you an idea.

I'm also a muscian. Here are some of the instruments I play:

Clarinet Bass Clarinet Lead and Rythem Guitar Bass Guitar

Currently I'm using a Fender Stratocaster as my primary guitar. I know its not a common guitar for a metal head, but in combination with my pedal setup it sounds good. Currently I'm using the Digitec GNX-1 guitar effects pad. If you have the money, I highly recomend the GNX series. I believe the GNX-1s are still available however the series goes up to 4 currently. I also have a Jim Dunlop Cry Baby. I'm haven't incorperated it into my effects loop yet due to lack of cables, and a DoD Grundge pedal for fun. Currently the only amp I have is a Squire practice 10, which works, but if I want to get into a band I'll have to get something else. I also have an Epiphone Special Model II. Word of advice, don't buy this guitar for anything other than personal pleasure. I played one gig with a band and it started falling appart. Currently I need to replace 3 tuning knobs ( might as well replace all of them) and both humbuckers (pickups for the unversed). I also have a Michael Kelly Custom Pheonix. It is an awesome guitar!

Books:

I like novels, especially series; mostly non-fiction. My favorite authors are J.R.R Tolkien, Michel Kritchen, Tom Clancy, and Ann Brooks. Theres a couple others in there too, though I can't remember there names. I read alot of books at a fast pace ( I average about 150 pages an hour). I also like comics, mostly New X-Men, Wolverine, Venom, and pretty much anything Dark Horse.
