Salutations and Greetings from the Inner I... It is I, Tyronnic aka Treazon. So you wanna know about me, hunh? I’ve been rhyming since I was 14 years old. Artists such as Pubic Enemy, KRS-ONE, PRT, Paris and The Coup influenced me to go a more positive, conscious route with the lyricals. I was raised in San Diego, California- Daygo to natives. There my cousin Black Mikey aka Minister Michael Black of Society Dark influenced me to move my poetic gifts in a different direction. It was then my love for lyricism and wordplay began. My vocab was heavily influenced by Marvel Comics such as X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Iron Man and Conan the Barbarian and of course, The Holy Bible.
My true love for hip hop began when I moved to the MidWilshire District of Los Angeles- Third Street, specifically. There at Belmont HIgh, I met S.O.D.A. Pop, C-Dub, J-Smooth (R.I.P.), Kilo-Hype the Zig Zag Man, T-Sand, StoneLuv, Kenji Lyle, Krazy Khrome and several other dynamic Third Street Reps who formed the UnderGround Network. I moved from that realm to the Funk Klann- Swiff, FeZy, and Dosha. Introduced to the Klann by Third Street Affiliate Drag One. Thru these artists, I was introduced to the lyrical goddess Medusa, who allowed me to grace the stage during one of her shows at the Fais Do-Do in L.A. The crowd responded to my craftwerk, and it was then that i knew I had something to offer the Hip Hop Culture.
My Black Odyssey came to its climax when I met Ninfoe, Amaze, and Poe Grim of D.I.P. and was inducted into the Hovrment- an UnderGround Movement to bring Hip Hop back from the depths of its own depravity and apathy. It was the Hov that gave me the tools to complete the work began back in the day on Third Street- a 20 track project I entitled Lost in Thought. Though I had recently completed a project with Producer/Engineer TMarlow entitled Poetic License, Lost in Thought was self-conceived and produced- all by the grace of God.
Lost in Thought has a lil bit of everything: lyricism, spoken word, Neo-Soul, and pure dee Hip Hop. Peep it out and let me know what you think. Be Honest- I can take it!!! lol
