My Interests

chocolate making (my latest passion), belly dancing (come take my class), wine tasting (a good glass of wine is sublime), reading, listening to music (an admitted old school househead), giving parties, watching movies

I'd like to meet:

Denzel Washington (if anyone can make that happen I will love you forever) Stevie Wonder - The greatest musical genius of all time. Dr. King - His words moved a nation Harriet Tubman - She freed so many of us.

Movies:

All Time faorites: 1. Singin' in the Rain (that's right Gene Kelly singing and dancing) 2. Auntie Mame (the Rosalind Russell version) 3. Jesus Christ Superstar ( I can sing along with every song) 4. Carmen Jones (Want to be as beautiful as Dorothy Dandridge) 5. The Sound of Music (The Hills are Alive) 6. Enter the Dragon (Bruce Lee, nothing else needs to be said) Newer Movies I Love: Malibu's Most Wanted, Elf, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Usual Suspects, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Inside Man, Suicide Kings, Eve's Bayou

Heroes:

My Daddy - he taught me to hustle and dream big. He also made me love the Blackness within me. Power to the People! My Momma - she taught me that generosity of spirit is good for the soul. My Sister Ricki - she taught me about style and loving the finer things in life. I snuck her Chanel no. 5 and learned to be a lady. My Sister Terri - she taught me about life. I was her running partner when I was a little girl and she never lied nor kept real life from me. If I asked she told. She is one of the bravest people I know. My Brother Norbert (Nobby) - He was my protector and nemesis at the same time. He built me homes made of sheets in the front room growing up and even though he was 6 years older than me, he shared his imagination and creativity with me.
