Shades of Sorrow (S.O.S.)

Back by popular demand. . .

About Me

Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Shades of Sorrow crafts catchy hardhitting songs that never seem to fail. Formed by Jerry Bakkus and Rob Ison in 2004, the melodies seemed to captivate the imaginations of all who listened. After trying out a pool of bassists, Eric Grabow, was added to the lineup in June of 2005. After performing a handful of shows at such clubs as Mainstage, The Guitar Bar, and Gopher One, the group added drummer Brian Pape to the lineup. What started out as a dynamic trio transformed into an explosive quartet. Former drummer, Rob Ison now stands at the front with his powerful vocals and stage presence. Backing him up is a powerful, dynamic group of musicians unafraid to step it up. With a growing fan base, and a confident sound, Shades of Sorrow is having a great time rocking out, giving back to local music and hopefully one day the world. Check out the MP3's from our latest Demo/EP entitled "Another Day" which is being featured on 102.1's "The Scene."Update: Rob and the guys split ways at the end of May, 2007. The guys are still playing together under the Shades of Sorow name which may possibly be changed in the near future. Expect additional members, some familiar material, and some awesomely new material before the end of summer. Myspace Backgrounds
