I am here for Friends

About Me

I have all the time in the world for decent, free thinking, genuine peeps who don't allow themselves to become something less than they could be in the quagmire of the didactic, constraining, exhaustive rubric that modern-day society churns us into (like being whisked into a gigantic cake mix). There are no barriers in my worldview; no sexism, no racisim, no homophobia, no descrimination of any sort. People are people.I'm a genuinly nice person and am pretty chilled out most of the time. I - like most peeps of my age - have only one overiding, all consuming, burning wish... but unfortunately I would only be allowed to train to be a Jedi Knight in a galaxy far far away (and a loooonnngggg time ago to boot). But, failing the lack of Jedi-mastery, I can honestly say I am the happiest I've ever been in my life at the moment. Living in London, living with the most wonderful woman in the whole world, loving life (but not particularly loving the pidgeons). Oh, and I'm great in bed... I get eight hours sleep every night, no probs. As soon as my head touches the pillow I'm out like a light. Now, thats what I call being great in bed. Cheerski and peash, Ry

My Interests

Gigs, loud music, quiet music, music that makes you shiver inside, music that makes you shout out loud and pulses through you like an independent heartbeat...

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with their own mind (not borrowed from someone else, or lifted from the lifestyle pages of a glossy magazine). People who like conversations that start with: 'what would happen if gravity suddenly stopped working...' or 'wouldn't it be strange if they built a watch that could countdown how much time you have left to live'... or 'isnt it weird how bats always turn left when they fly out of a cave'......... and general stuff like that. Anyone who isn't afraid to use the middle finger salute to diss the capatalistic mantra that you are what you own; you are defined by the objects around you; you desire more objects and must work HARDER to earn the money to obtain more objects, and when you have those objects you need to work even harder to gain - suprise, suprise - more objects. So, anyone who thinks for themselves.... And Batman.... Batman is the tops....

Music:

Alice in Chains, Black Crowes, Boy Hits Car, Bush, Jeff Buckley, Countin Crows, CKY, Dispatch, Depeche Mode, Finch, Gomez, Him, Incubus, Jellyfish, Jets to Brazil, Jimmy Eat World, Korn, Live, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Screaming Trees, Smashing Pumpkins, Elliott Smith, Soundgarden, Spin Doctors, Vast, Vex Red, Tom Waits - N' loads n' loads of other stuff (I am poor cuz all my cash goes on music, but hey, its better to have something good to listen to than to eat).

Movies:

CLERKS by Kevin Smith: "This job would be great if it wasn't for the fucking customers"SERENITY by Joss Whedon - sci fi without the sodding Ewoks. Nice.MAN BITES DOG by Belvaux,Bonzel,Poelvoorde - Its in French, its about a tv crew who follow a serial killer round whilst he bumps people off. Its brilliant and very, very funny.

Television:

COLUMBO - I think the glass eye is strangely appealing.FIREFLY - No glass eyes, me thinks, but rather spiffy space opera western crossover. DIRTY SANCHEZ - Welsh mentalist skateboarding, general arsing aboutness. Better than Jackass by a mile.

Books:

THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE / WE CAN BUILD YOU - Philip K. Dick (The literary equivalent to a dose of amphetamine with an LSD chaser)INVISIBLE MONSTERS - Chuck Palahniuk - His best, I'd say.CANNERY ROW - John Steinbeck - Most beautiful book I've ever read.

Heroes:

KEVIN SMITH, BILL HICKS, HENRY ROLLINS

Finding the inner peace

Today I was metaphorically attacked at work by the terrible, hairy, bug-eyed stress monster. By that I mean there were some peeps who were trying to get me into trouble over some work-related tom-fool...

Pimms o clock (or how I experienced the happiest day in my lil sister's life, yay!)...

Now... the diary of this momentous event for the Masella family (Coventry branch), from my point of view, should read as follows: 1 PM - Galliano n ice (double) 1:20 PM - Galliano n ice (another doubl...
