I live in Daventry. Whatever twist you attempt to put on this place, you cannot escape the fact that it sucks the big one to be here. One day i'll be gone. And I won't miss it one bit. SO. HA. Ahem
I like punk rock. I listen to other music too, would you believe. Variations-galore, pop punk, ska punk, punk rawk. I like to dance. I like my Hardcore every so often too. Hardcore is probably the wrong word, so check out the bands I like and you can decide. hXc!! an all that
I have no talent when it comes to singing/dancing/any form of music, therefore I feel it necessary to do it all a lot.
I somehow finished a B-TEC in Music Practise at Rugby Coll with Merit/Merit/Merit. I know. I don't understand either. I went to the college to Media and, organized as those people are, I ended up on the Music course. And so my life is music-orientated, one way or another... and I still suck...more than you...
I’m generally pretty friendly. Come talk to me. Chances are I’ll scare you.
However if you can see past/share the humour in my unbelievable cynicism and occasional sarcastic comments then you and I sir/madam will get on famously.
That said, I’m reserved in a new place usually… I’m inconsistent when it comes to confidence. Its damned annoying donchya know.

My accent comes up in conversation a lot. It’s weird. Thanks for reminding me. Here’s the story. I was born in t’Leeds, moved up to Newc’astle like ha’way man then down to this lovely little town I call ShitHole every once in a while. I'm glad I did though, ultimately.

Things You Probably Don’t Care About.
* I play bass. Cos I’m that kinda guy. Mine’s bigger, plus I have amazing finger technique… shyeah like any of that’ll apply to me. This generally means I jump around at the back whilst continually getting ignored
* ‘Don’t hate us because we make you smile!’ People should cheer up. It’s not the end of the world just yet (Oh how I wish we could shut up and smiiiiile!)
* Local music is awesome. Rugby music is on the way back up. You’ll see. You’ll ALL SEE

* I try to be upbeat and optimistic. That doesn’t always work and I end up the happiest most upbeat cynic in the world. This means, I'm more than aware shit happens and am likely to make some sort of sarcastic comment about it if brought up in conversation. Maybe.
* I’m a loser. Proud of it too. Alternative music/lifestlye is about being a loser/geek/outcast. About having a sense of individuality. Not the most popular kid with a hundred thousand friends who likes to get fucked on Acid every other minute and generally being a stuck up little bitch. These people, who know who they are, are fucking up the word ‘alternative’ with every breath they take.
* Sorry, got carried away there, besides, what do I know. We're all hipocrits at heart. Maybe.
* I'm undecisive in a decisive kind of way. Figure that one out.
* Guess I’m quite opinionated, but I keep it to myself unless I’m challenged. And I still tend to let you walk all over me.
* My confidence is annoying. It’s inconsitant. In general I’m in severe need of some more. In a new place, I’m screwed. Most of this is void when I hang about with fuckface for some reason… I still don’t know why.
* * EMO. 1) STOP BEING SCARED OF IT 2) STOP TRYING TOO HARD. Emo is not the WORST THING IN THE UNIVERSE. It is also not the only thing in the fucking universe.

No Expense
No Expense was my first band. I mention it because it's the only pop punk band i've ever been in, and I fucking loved every second. We played for the sake of saying retarded things into microphones and jumping about. And also cause we all listened to Screeching Weasel, and thought it was the most amazing thing in the world. We then convinced ourselves, for the first time in our lives we actually had a chance of making something just as awesome. We were wrong, but y'know... that was sort of expected too. Maybe one day we'll get back together, if it's got anything to do with me we will. But who knows. NE. I salut you.

Lavondyss
I joined Lavondyss in 2006, quite out of the ordinary, and was going to leave until we played a gig. And then found it was one of the most intense things I've ever done. The musicians in this band are awesome and surpass anything I thought technically possible for people I KNEW. My duties involve screamed vocals and climbing on things i'm not supposed to. Excellent eh, I tag along. This has become my main venture, just because without trying too hard we did fairly well in our first year, and I still get that first-time feeling everytime I get on stage and loose my mind for half an hour. It's undescribable... a bit like my inability to write about my band(s) (see above)

As I mentioned up there somewhere, I write, and this is the result. It started off as a fanzine devised by myself and Lavondyss Bassist Seb, however i'm all alone now, sob. So it's all changing. There will be a full website soon, not only exploring the local music scene, put pushing out into the national music scene and encompassing other things I like. Namely video games, and i'll be posting all my pointless rants that end up in my Myspace blogs on there soon too. The website's sorted. I just need cash to get the webspace sorted.
