the story
MONDO PR!MO, the band hitherto known as Feable Weiner, is
releasing a record August 19th most aptly titled 2FN HOT.
The record is produced by Matt Mahaffey who's known for
his work with Beck, Hellogoodbye, and Self. As Feable Weiner,
the band extensively toured nationally and internationally
with the likes of Bowling for Soup, as well as
label-mates The All American Rejects and Cruiserweight.
As a result of their devotion to the road, the record
includes many doting tour-inspired anthems such as
"Man's Van vs. Diablo" and "East Coast Girls."
Now armed with a new name, new record, and a far-from-new tour van,
MONDO PR!MO is primed for a lengthy campaign
of infusing fun into the typically earnest and humorless indie rock landscape.

R.I.Y.L. The All American Rejects, Hellogoodbye,
Weezer, Bowling for Soup, The Get Up Kids

the press
"sounds like a cross between All American Rejects,
Weezer and That Dog. The songs are crafted in a very Rivers Cuomo kind of way:
triumphant and grandiose, with melodies taking center stage."
-Daniel Mitchell, Ink19
"Like Nerf Herder, they concoct irresistible pop songs that are equally witty and addictive.
-John D. Luerssen, Essential Album on MSN.com
