About Me

..
I am a composer. I mainly write and arrange for small chamber ensembles, but I've also done song cycles and percussion pieces. I've been branching out lately and doing full wind band works. I am also a singer/songwriter. I mainly play acoustic shows. But I play electric guitar, piano, and harmonica for session work, worship sets, or for hire with other bands. Recently I've enjoyed arranging strings for Philip Creamer's new solo project, Johnny Lloyd Rollin's debut album, and Becky Middleton's upcoming EP. If you would like orchestration for your next project, let me know and I'll hook you up. My goal as an artist is to write for the purpose of expression and not promotion. I figure if promotion happens it will take care of itself. I'm just trying to get my music out there so people can hear it and be moved in some way.
ATTENTION BANDS AND SINGER/SONGWRITERS: I am in the market for doing string, wind, brass, piano or percussion arrangements for your next recording. Prices are flexible depending on the project. Contact me if you are interested.

I am firm believer in Christ. This is naturally a part of my music. People ask me all the time "So are you a Christian artist?" Well, I am an artist who is a Christian...therefore isn't anything I create "Christian music"? Yes, I play in bars, clubs and coffee shops alike. I will perform practically anywhere that people will listen, so check out the tunes and let me know what you think.
I am a poet. Writing is probably my most nebulous form of expression. It is where I can direct more of my darker and deeper thoughts to be released into. I keep my journal with me constantly in my backpack and write in it practically everyday. Please check it out under the POETRY section of GASSMUSIC.com
My first solo project "Black As My Coffee" is available for only $5
Or, you can download it from iTunes directly.
My second project "Mexican Tea" is available for only free by clicking here.
