About Me

PopSuicide is a rock band hailing from the American Midwest featuring original music penned by guitarist/singer Alex Porter. The band was founded by Alex with drummer Steve Fuller and came to its current lineup with the addition of bassist Erik Hollander. The trio loves to play live and always fills the stage with energy and unforgettable power contained in their short, catchy, guitar-driven songs. It is the performance and the presence of PopSuicide on stage that sets this band apart and connects them with their audience. The music of PopSuicide can roughly be described as 'heavy pop' and is influenced by styles ranging from the Foo Fighters to Black Sabbath and Nirvana. PopSuicide is direct, simple rock music that is raw, urgent, and at the edge of control and chaos - a combination rarely seen in bands saturating the modern market.
