Welcome to the first home page of Aramir! Aramir is a power metal project created by Henrik Juhano and Niklas Dahlin, who are know as the former guitarists of the Swedish power metal band, Insania Stockholm. Beyond the present day, three studio albums were released with Insania; World of Ice (1999), Sunrise in Riverland (2001) and Fantasy - A New Dimension (2003). Henrik and Niklas are today also known from the heavy metal band Disdained. Strongly influenced by the powerful music created by the world known and great composer Luca Turilli, Aramir was created shortly after the guys left Insania. This project could be called a metal opera, since the music is based on a sience fiction like story and several vocalists will play different parts in the plot. The music of Aramir will contain a lot of symphonic elements aswell as the traditional power metal. To give you a little taste of what will come, we have uploaded a few demos for you. The songs are still sketches and may vary in quality, but we hope you like the music of Aramir. Cheers!
