About Me

Stigdog (in a previous life) arrived in London in the Electronic 80s hot from a Printmaking/Illustration degree. A childhood in West Wales, assuming the guise of an alien or a robot, has had a lasting effect. A relatively normal 90s followed, working in graphics, illustrating for major publishers, decorating ceramics and writing books on British pottery. The years immersed in trash horror paperbacks, New Wave and 2000AD comics have come back and smacked him in the face. He was invited to design decoration for a range of vinyl toys in 2006 which allowed him to free the inner Stigdog straining against his leash. He ain’t going away and is now creating a buzz selling works from a new studio in Somerset that has allowed a free rein to the new flow of madness. Figurative sculptural pots have given way to articulated puppets, robots and skulls, skulls, skulls.
