Whats goin on ever1. My name is Duv, or Jonathan depending on who u r and how u know me. I'm a singer-song writer, sometimes MC, used to be dancer, can be a visual artist but always poet. I love music and art like plants love water. I think those who know me would say that I'm honest and fun to be around. I'm outgoing. Enjoy going out and tryin new things but can also be a home body. I'm definitely hard working and definitely determined, especially when comes to making my music happen. I'm all about the music. There is nothing at this point in life that I want more. The only thing that I love more is my family(that includes certain friends). I'm always down to meet and hear from new people. I'd like to meet:

I love meeting all types of new people as often as i can. I definatly love the idea of meeting other artists. Any kind of art as long as they do it for the love.

Music:

Openthought, Baba, Core Rhythm, 3rd Party, mos def, boys 2 men, p.o.d., the roots, musiq, talib kwali, krs1, outkast, sade, enigma, floetry, eric benet, common, erica badu, D'Angelo, cee-lo, bone thugs n harmony, coldplay, joss stone, lauren hill, disturbed, nas, vivian green, amel larrieux, anthony hamilton, busta rymes, carl thomas, goapele, india arie, me (Duv), and there are so many many more artists in almost every genre of music that i respect and listen to (can't really get down with to much country music tho).

Movies:

i like so many different types of movies. scary ones, funny ones and call me a kid but i love movies with magic and or superheroes.

Television:

adultswim on cartoon network (the boondocks, familyguy, etc.), i cant front tho, i like most other cartoons too. the dave chappelle show, sometimes i'll catch a football or basketball game with a friend. i try to watch any music or art related shows wen i can, gotta give love to the artists of the world. anything else that might catch my interest.

Heroes:

Wolverine from the X-Men!!! LOL, just playin! :) My Mother and Father. As a family we've been through alot and as I got older I've been able to really see and be a part of it. As an adult I understand and appreciate who they are and what they have done for our family. I love them both very much and I'm grateful to have them both in my life. ( wolverine is my favorite super heroe though. LOL.)
