About Me

Backup Johnny tells the story of a young boy in a big city named Johnny Ray. The challenge of Backup Johnny was to build the band around the idea rather than put 4 musicians together in a garage and see what comes out, and that idea being our protaganist of the band - "Johnny". All coming from previous bands, the band mates work endlessly to develop Johnny's life, one song at a time. From hard driving rock songs to powerful piano melodies, all with amazing story-telling lyrics, Backup Johnny is certainly a must see!
