About Me

Blatant Finger kicks the door down with their own brand of powerful, Midwest punk rock-n-roll. Their music has found a perfect balance between maintaining their punk rock roots while producing thoughtful, radio-friendly music. Heavily influenced by latter day post-punk, Blatant Finger is often compared to such bands as Social Distortion, Swingin Utters, Face to Face and Pegboy to name a few.

Blatant Fingers live show is what sets them apart from most working bands. Their energetic, if not loose cannon, approach to their live performances demonstrates a genuine connection with their audience. They consistently tour throughout the Midwest and East Coast.

In late 2003, Blatant Finger signed a recording and distribution deal with Southern Californias Pelado Records. Their Pelado debut Moving Forward was released in September 2004 and is available in stores or on the web in 17 countries world wide.

Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Pegboy, Naked Raygun, Misfits, Ramones, the Cure, Psychadelic Furs, One Man Army, U.S. Bombs, Johnny Cash, Jawbreaker, The Explosion, Sugar(bob mould), Old Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, Death on Wednesday, The Clash, Alkaline Trio, Face to Face, The Beltones, the fuckin' Swingin Utters and any other powerful, catchy songs with a point.
