About Me

Currently studying music at Musikhögskolan i Piteå. Plays mainly improvised music in different forms. Also loves to play more mainstream styles of music such as reggae, soul and rock. Sounds Like: About the uploaded music:

"Miniatyr 3" is a freely improvised piece recorded in 2004. Musicians: Me, electric bass; Susanne Brandebo, drums; Joachim Toft, electric guitar. Björn Larsson recorded and mixed it.

"Blodgrot" is another free improvisation. It was recorded in 2008. Musicians: Me, double bass; Susanne Brandebo, drums; Rasmus Persson, trombone; Anders Winterstam, piano. Johannes Oscarsson and Jonas Doe recorded it. Rasmus Persson mixed it.

The blues "Grotesque" was written by me in 2007 and recorded in 2008. Musicians: Me, double bass; Andreas Erehed, drums; Stefan Tjerngren, tenor saxophone (right channel); Robert Nordmark, tenor saxophone (left channel). I recorded and mixed it.

I wrote "Nerman" in 2005. It was recorded during the same session as "Grotesque". Robert Nordmark is the only saxophone player on this one, though.

"Tjarn" actually started out as a picking excersise. Soon it evolved though, and became something of a short solo piece for electric bass. It was written, played (yes, even the glockenspiel part...), recorded and mixed by me in 2008.
