Let's see here...I am a retired figure skater of 17 years, just now realizing there's a whole world outside of that cult. Don't get me wrong- it's a great sport and definitely the first love of my life, but man does it brainwash you. Once I stepped outside of that box I was like "whoa, so people aren't ALWAYS judging me?". I now live in the mountains and love to snowboard although I totally suck. Mostly I like the cute clothes I get to wear when I ride. I guess that's the skater coming out in me...the only thing missing in snowboarding clothes are the rhinestones!!! My favorite past time is definitely shopping. Coming in at a close second is eating. I love going to hippie music festivals and shows. One of the biggest disappointments is when Phish broke up(my fave band)...but at lea 5AC st I made it to their last show in Coventry Vermont. That was a great experience that I will never forget...driving 25 hours to get there, getting stuck in traffic for 40 hours,then having to hitch-hike in for the show, getting stuck in mud for 3 days, and hitch hiking back to the car. Now I am living somewhat of a normal life; working as the front desk manager at a hotel in Breckenridge. I have come to realize that I HATE TEXANS and tourists in general. Who knew people could be so mean when they're on vacation? So far I've been told that I've ruined one family's Christmas, been yelled at because the pond behind our hotel wasn't frozen so their kid couldn't skate on the crappy ice, and because it didn't snow. Ahhhh the life of a front desk manager. I have an awesome family, fantastic parents, 2 brothers, one sister, and 6 nieces and nephews. The latest edition to our family came this past Saturday Jan 13th=). My boyfriend's name is Brad and he is the most fabulous person I have ever met in my life... can't imagine my world with out him. I couldn't ask for a better fam, and am thankful for how lucky i am to have them in my life. All in all I can't really complain about the life I lead. I'm basically a child in an adult's body.
