I am here for Friends

About Me

In second grade I traded in my ego for a sweet pair of love handles and spent the next ten years rocking a little extra junk in the trunk. Sure it made pool parties uncomfortable (swimming with your shirt on is never cool) and I wasn't exactly God's gift to bicycle shorts but it did help me do one thing: Develop a demented, self-depricating and (in my own humble opinion) absolutely brilliant sense of humor. And it should go without saying that I love food. All of it. Except mayo and cream cheese, I draw the line there.I don't go out much in LA as I'm not a big fan of the clubs or the whole nightlife scene. I prefer spending quality time with my good friends...which totally reminds me of this one time me, Tara Reid and Scott Baio were, like, sooo wasted at Sky Bar and then...sorry, didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. Earlier this year I was on a series called "Fashion House" on MyNetwork TV (formerly UPN). I played the unreasonably whipped photographer, Michael Bauer, who proved that even getting shot in the chest wasn't enough to stop a man in love with the wrong girl. This March, I'll be on another series, "The American Heiress" on the same channel (13 in LA). This show's got it all: murder, cleavage, a plane crash, and plenty of gratuitous shirtless scenes. It'll be on Tuesday nights from 8pm to 10pm and I think we're poised for great success seeing as how our only competition is some karaoke show hosted by a guy on the radio.

My Interests

Good books, writing, watching movies, just about anything outdoors, eating (you're looking at a former fat child...no food category is off limits), and spending time with quality people.

I'd like to meet:

Nice people, the writer who thought it would be cool for my character to refer to his best friend as a "beef cake," David Blain, The man or woman who invented Excedrin (you've saved my life countless times, I owe you big), and the banker from Deal or No Deal.

Music:

Everything...even country.

Movies:

The Goonies, Ferris Bueler's Day Off, The Breakfast Club, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, The Big Lebowski, Rounders, Good Will Hunting, PCU, and Wet Hot American Summer to name a few.

Television:

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Sarah Silverman Program, The Office, High Stakes Poker, Reno 911! and Weeds.

Books:

Love the ones with pictures...and the ones with pictures that you get to color in...and the ones where you get to choose your own adventure. Recently I read Confederacy of Dunces, Confessions of an Economic Hitman and Freakonomics. All were big winners in my opinion.

Heroes:

My brother, Han Solo and David Blain (in that order).

My Blog

I'm off to Minnesota!

Yep, I'm packing my bags and heading off to Minneapolis for a month or so to educate the rest of the nation on the benefits of Mystic tanning.  My personal crusade aside, I have two things to say...
