So I’m finally writing about myself on this thing...one of my friends mentioned something to me that made me want to explain my space and a little more about myself. This may be a little lengthy so brace yourself :-) Ok where do I start...I have always been a mammas girl...never daddy's little girl (we don’t and never have had a good relationship). My mother always told me that I should try never to stress myself because I always find my way no matter how big the obstacles. So, this is why my headline never changes and never will. Also, mommy always grew me up on the notion that simplicity = true beauty. She never wore much makeup and didn’t care much for the glam in life. I now find myself developing into a woman much the same. I don’t wear much makeup, unless I'm modeling and I have never owned face powder...YUCK!!! Mommy always wore a gold chain with a cross and these gold bracelets and bangles that would make a chime sound whenever she moved (that’s how I always new she was coming :-) Well, I have always had my chain and cross charm and have recently acquired my first few bangles. I'll get the bigger ones one day :-) so that I can make my own chime sound ;-)
Also, one of my fav quotes is "Live, Laugh, Love". Growing up as a "white skinned" mixed child on the islands, I lived defending my blood and looking past the ignorance of an island consumed with the notion that black was a skin color only! How could I only be white if my mother, brother, aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. were all black?...Well anyway, I grew up into my own person, white and black, mixed and proud of my simple beauty, living life with laughter and love. The church has always been an influence in my life and the Lord has blessed me and my family with much, sooooooo much. So you forgive those who do you wrong and move on. My husband must also have god in his life, which is very important. I know that I am not ready for a husband nor children right now, my career plans are far too vast. But I am looking forward to meeting my first born, my sec, third, etc...and having them all with the one man that gives my shivers when he puts his lips on my neck and of course makes me happy and treats me like the strong yet sometimes weak and girly woman that I am. I intend to treat him the same, spoil him and love him unconditionally...ALWAYS. I value friendship...all my friends can tell you that. I absolutely adore and love cats...they really can sense stupid...LOL AND I LOVE FOOD!!! Hence why me and GYM will forever be close :-)My career will be in the restaurant industry; however, I do love the entertainment industry as well so maybe I'll morph the two :-) who knows...ummmmm what else? I love color in my life but oddly enough my fav color is white...go figure. Organization is big for me I like to plan everything. From the age of 7 or 8 I started making To Do Lists but now I've upgraded to planners ;-) Music and pics are very important. I grew up on reggae and junkanoo music, being from the islands and all. Also mommy and daddy were big Lionel Richie, Al Green, Kenny Rogers, Luther, and Diana Ross fans, so tell this day I love the music of the 80's. Once, Twice, Three Times a Lady will always be one of my fav songs and will definitly be played at my wedding :-) As you can see from my space, pics are a big thing too me. I love capturing moments and looking back at them, you always get a good laugh. Soooooo on that note...live, laugh, and love, God Bless.
